Motivated by donor interest in innovative thinking on food security, the authors conducted an interdisciplinary, triangulation analysis of four divergent conceptual frameworks, each relevant to diagnosing food insecurity in developing countries.

The Food Systems Innovation initiative functions as a knowledge hub, helping to create spaces for reflection, analysis, sharing and learning. They do this by convening forums, building alliances and networks, synthesising findings and undertaking research.
