Esta tesis planteó identificar oportunidades de mercado para la comercialización de productos con atributos diferenciadores, a través de un proceso participativo y de enfoque de cadenas de valor, que contribuyera a mejorar la articulación de la cadena al mercado y permitiera a los actores la toma de decisiones para optimar la cadena de forma sostenible, mejorando su calidad de vida.
Este trabajo se trata de la caracterización de tipo la cadena apícola del municipio de Aldama, Chiapas, tomando en cuenta sus dimensiones económicas, sociales y ecológicas; la visualización de estrategias para el fortalecimiento; además, se describe el tipo de la gobernanza de la cadena, el poder y control de los actores que interviene en el sector y los efectos del cambio climático sobre la apicultura.
El trabajo de investigación se realizó en la subcuenca “La Suiza” ubicada en los Municipios de Montecristo de Guerrero y Mapastepec correspondiente al Estado de Chiapas, México, el fin fue definir lineamientos para manejo y conservación de los servicios ecosistémicos.
Africa Lead II—the Feed the Future: Building Capacity for African Agricultural Transformation Program—aims to support and advance agricultural transformation in Africa as proposed by the African Union Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Program. It will also contribute to the Feed the Future goals of reduced hunger and poverty by building the capacity of Champions—defined as men and women leaders in agriculture—to develop, lead, and manage the policies, structures and processes needed for the transformation process.
