Mise en valeur agricole et dynamiques rurales dans le Touat, le Gourara et le Tidikelt (Sahara algérien)
Le Touat-Gourara-Tidikelt est un très vaste espace, qui occupe près du quart la superficie du Sahara algérien. Il fait partie intégrante de la zone la plus aride du monde, aux contraintes naturelles particulièrement difficiles. Cet espace connu comme le « Pays des foggaras » était savamment exploité, depuis plus d’un millénaire, par les oasiens qui profitaient de la dynamique économique impulsée par le commerce transsaharien.

Les petites exploitations agricoles familiales dans les oasis occidentales du Sahara algérien : état et devenir
L’exploitation agricole familiale des oasis occidentales du Sahara algérien évolue dans un contexte de difficultés lié au déclin des ressources en eau (amenée par les galeries des foggaras) au faible revenu tiré de l’agriculture et à la diversification des activités, au profit de celles non agricoles, plus rémunératrices. À ces facteurs s’ajoutent les effets d’une atomisation de la propriété agricole oasienne, due à l’indivision foncière en rapport avec l’accroissement démographique.

Tips and guidelines for planning CDAIS national policy dialogue event

These guidelines have been elaborated by the CDAIS project to organize policy consultations at national level. In particular, they can be used by project teams (e.g. project managers, facilitators, policy consultants) for the planning of national policy dialogue events to discuss policy related issues emerged during the local consultations at innovation partnership level and require attention of national policy makers.

CDAIS policy dialogue: Implementation guidelines for niche-level policy consultation, in preparation for a national policy event

These guidelines have been elaborated by the CDAIS project to organize policy consultations at innovation partnership level. They can be used by project teams (e.g. project managers, facilitators, policy consultants) to plan and conduct workshops with representatives of the innovation partnership to discuss policy related issues that hinder the innovation process in a particular partnership.

The Synthesis Document, here in its Hindi version, provides a synthesis of concepts and principles of the Common Framework developed under the Tropical Agriculture Platform (TAP). The objective of the TAP Common Framework is to promote better coherence and greater impact of capacity development in support of agricultural innovation in the Tropics. Developed in 2015 through a highly participatory process, it was agreed that the Framework should provide conceptual underpinnings and practical guidance.
