Un problema que enfrenta la producción nacional de madera aserrada es la pérdida de competitividad frente a la madera importada. Para el periodo 1993-1995, la producción nacional abastecía el 80% del consumo nacional y para el 2001-2003 sólo el 3%. El objetivo del estudio que se refiere en este artículo ha sido identificar los estilos de liderazgo que han permitido a las organizaciones productoras de uva de mesa sonorense, incorporar la responsabilidad social empresarial (RSE). La investigación adoptó un diseño transversal descriptivo, mediante la aplicación de un cuestionario a directivos de organizaciones productores de uva. Los resultados muestran, que los liderazgos transformacionales y transaccionales permiten mayores niveles de RSE.
La organización de las mujeres indígenas y rurales en grupos productivos y microempresas pretende ser un mecanismo hacia el empoderamiento, el combate a la pobreza y la equidad de género, siendo los tres Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible de la Agenda 2030 para el Desarrollo de las Naciones Unidas. En México, dichos objetivos se abordan desde el Plan Nacional de Desarrollo (2013-2018), donde además se establece como estrategia transversal la perspectiva de género para ser aplicada en el diseño e implementación de políticas, programas y presupuestos sectoriales.
En este trabajo se analizan las características del sistema de innovación agrícola de exportación en el estado de Sonora, como estrategia de competitividad de los agricultores en el contexto del TLCAN. Para ello, se identifican tanto los actores principales del sistema como las interacciones entre éstos y los factores que incentivan o restringen su vinculación. Metodología: se recolectó, analizó y relacionó información cuantitativa y cualitativa y se hicieron entrevistas semiestructuradas.
This study identifies, characterizes, evaluates, and validates promising agricultural innovations on wheat and faba bean crops along their value chains. It particularly addresses the following four research questions: ▪What constrains are likely to adversely influence efficiency, productivity, marketability, and market performance of wheat and faba bean in Ethiopia? What is the level and sources of efficiency and productivity of smallholder wheat and faba bean producers? Which innovations are promising to enhance productivity and profitability of wheat and faba bean along the value chains?
The objective of the research is to put forth the main problems that need to be solved before Tunisian olive oil can effectively use designation of origin and geographical indication (GI) to go to international markets. These constraints will be established based on information gathered through a survey of olive oil exporters and producers. Policies that focus on quantity will need to be complemented by specific measures based on quality at all levels of the industry in order to lead exports of this key product to reach its full potential
