Cette étude vise à analyser les effets de la COVID-19 sur la chaîne de valeur du lait et des produits laitiers, ainsi que les stratégies développées par les acteurs socio- professionnels et privés pour contribuer à la relance par l’Etat de la chaîne de valeur. Elle s’est déroulée de fin mai à août 2020 et a porté sur 19 producteurs et 11 transformateurs laitiers. Elle montre que la hausse des importations de lait et de produits laitiers notée dès janvier 2020 s’est maintenue pendant la pandémie.
Gérer un espace sensible sur un plan écologique suppose un dispositif de gestion qui repose sur un montage institutionnel, des équilibres politiques souvent subtils, et des règles de partage des responsabilités, des coûts et des ressources. Farmers’ views on research and extension services (RES) included in the Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation System are rarely investigated. This study analyses the relationship between key factors of innovation behaviour (market orientation, learning orientation, and innovation attitude) and the use of RES through structural equation modelling, focusing on small-scale agricultural holdings. Market orientation and learning orientation appear to be positively correlated, confirming that synergies between both factors provide a background for innovativeness.

Este trabajo analizó el desempeño de la cadena exportadora de manzana para consumo en fresco, en Uruguay, mediante el método de la matriz de análisis de políticas (MAP). Se trabajó con la variedad Royal Gala, una de las más exportadas localmente por su temprana maduración y su buena aceptación en mercados de valor, como el europeo. Se cuantificaron los efectos de las políticas públicas (impuestos, subsidios, cargas sociales) y las eventuales fallas de mercado que afectan los distintos eslabones, estimándose las potenciales transferencias de recursos, desde o hacia la cadena.
