En el presente artículo se propone una metodología para evaluar la factibilidad de subsidio económico en sistemas de producción —usando indicadores locales de sustentabilidad— en la Región Constitución, Calakmul, Campeche (México). A partir de encuestar a productores, tomadores de decisiones y técnicos locales, se construyó una lista de 17 indicadores de sustentabilidad para evaluar los sistemas de producción del chile jalapeño (Capsicum annum L.), y maíz (Zea mayz L.).
This paper has been prepared under the guidelines provided by the TAP Secretariat at the FAO, as a contribution to the G20 initiative TAP, which includes near 40 partners and is facilitated by FAO. This report describes the 2012 NAIS Assessment was piloted in 4 countries: Botswana, Ghana, Kenya and Zambia. Data were collected through a survey questionnaire, open-ended interview questions, and data mining of secondary sources. A team led by a national coordinator took charge of data collection from various partner organizations in each country.

Este trabajo aborda la problemática de la visión reduccionista de la comunicación en el Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Agropecuaria (INTA) de la provincia de Catamarca, Argentina. A raíz de reconocer el predominio y la centralidad de la dimensión informativa en las acciones institucionales, (ver apartado 4), se pretende diseñar una estrategia de comunicación organizacional más proactiva a los objetivos del INTA. La finalidad consiste en reconfigurar los vínculos intersubjetivos para propiciar situaciones de comunicación desde la dimensión comunicacional.

TAP and its partners carried out regional surveys in Asia, Africa and Central America to assess priorities, capacities and needs in national agricultural innovation systems. This document provides a Regional synthesis report on capacity needs assessment for agricultural innovation in Africa. FARA was selected as Recipient Organization by FAO to facilitate TAP implementation in Africa. This is mainly due to its position as the umbrella organization bringing together and forming coalitions of major regional stakeholders in agricultural research and development.
This brief explains the concept of gender equality in advisory services and discusses the opportunities that gender equality in rural advisory services can create for global and local food production, women’s economic empowerment, household food security, and nutrition. It summarises experiences of how gender equality can be pursued in advisory services and provides some practical examples.
This paper builds on experiences from the Research Into Use programme in South Asia that tried to up-scale promising research outputs into wider use.
