This booklet describes some recent, stand-out innovations and achievements that are the fruits of this future-oriented partnership, fully supported by the Katalyst project. As Katalyst is in its third phase of operations, some of the milestone achievements of the project are reviewed. The project expects to expand on these successful models to be implemented throughout Bangladesh.

The Africa Research in Sustainable Intensification for the Next Generation (Africa RISING) program comprises three research-for-development projects supported by the United States Agency for International Development as part of the U.S. government’s Feed the Future initiative. Este volante muestra diferentes iniciativas para la sostenibilidad de la agricultura familiar y la seguridad alimentaria.
El propósito de este texto es explorar el concepto de sistemas territoriales de agricultura familiar (STAF) en el marco de procesos que promuevan, de manera integrada, iniciativas de desarrollo de nuestros territorios rurales y de fortalecimiento de las agriculturas familiares, en el marco de políticas nacionales articuladas o complementarias entre sí.
Este material tiene como propósito brindar herramientas y recursos para promover y fortalecer los procesos asociativos en el territorio, y está destinado a los equipos técnicos del INTA y también de todas aquellas organizaciones e instituciones que trabajan en la promoción del desarrollo de los agricultores familiares. Ofrece pautas y orientaciones para los grupos asociativos que recién se están conformando y también para aquellos que ya tienen un camino recorrido.
Se espera que este plan sea la hoja de ruta, tanto para los líderes locales, como para los funcionarios de instituciones que apoyan el territorio. Aquí podrán encontrar las prioridades identificadas por los actores y las líneas de acción que se deben seguir para alcanzar los objetivos planteados. No está de más señalar que la puesta en práctica de este plan requiere del esfuerzo mancomunado de todos los actores sociales del territorio, así como de toda la ayuda financiera y técnica que puedan prestar los actores institucionales.
Este volante muestra las acciones para mejorar la capacidad de los países para mitigar y adaptarse al cambio climático y utilizar mejor los recursos naturales.
